MERCHANDISER

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Merchandiser to join the GCC’s biggest wholesale business in the pet sector, to help drive wholesale operations in this growing business.

You will be reporting directly to the Field Leader (Modern Trade) based in Dubai. Your key responsibilities include day-to-day stock monitoring; ensuring products are well displayed; maintaining a good relationship with customers; promoting our brands and influencing the purchase process, scheduling and managing deliveries, payment collection, and reporting.

You should possess the following experience(s) and skills:

at least 2 years of experience working in Supermarkets/Hypermarkets in Oman preferably in the FMCG sector
efficient, multi-tasker, creative thinker, and result-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
excellent command of English (Arabic is a plus)
good communication and people skills
good eye for opportunities (new space/listings etc)
basic knowledge of different types of pets and their needs;
team player and good interpersonal skills;
independent, organized, and self-motivated;
ability to work under pressure;
must have a valid Oman Manual Driving License
